This blog captures one of the most unforgettable experiences of my journey as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) student from Western Mindanao State University (WMSU). It documents our Industrial Visit a vital part of our Work Immersion program, designed to help us connect classroom learning with real world industry practices.
From June 9 to June 14, 2025, we were given the opportunity to visit leading tech and IT BPM companies in Metro Manila. These experiences allowed us to explore the professional world we aim to be part of in the future. After completing our company visits, we also had the chance to relax and enjoy scenic spots in Tagaytay and Baguio City a well deserved reward after all the hard work we've done as students.
Day 1 (AM) Foundever PH, Pasig City
Welcomed with warmth and inspiration, we learned about customer experience management, digital solutions, and real life tech journeys.
Day 1 (PM) Google Philippines, BGC Taguig
Atty. Yves Gonzalez shared his story and insights about Google's tech culture, innovation, and policy leadership.
Day 2 (AM) Teleperformance Philippines, SM Aura
We discovered TP's commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and the importance of both tech and soft skills in the digital age.
Day 2 (PM) Kollab, Mandaluyong City
We gained real world insights into AI, UX/UI, work culture, and building a compelling developer portfolio.
Day 3 (AM) Asian Development Bank (ADB), Mandaluyong
With the help of CXC and IBPAP, we explored how global institutions use technology for inclusive and sustainable development.
Day 3 (PM) MicroSourcing, Quezon City
From office tours to a LinkedIn workshop, we learned about outsourcing solutions, career paths, and personal branding in the digital era.
Day 4 Tagaytay Adventure
From People's Park in the Sky to SkyRanch, we faced our fears (hello, Super Vikings!) and shared laughter, screams, and stories we'll never forget.
Day 5 Baguio City: Summer Capital Memories
From strawberry taho and scenic views to Burnham Park boat rides and bike adventures, Baguio reminded us that rest is also a part of growth.
